Areas of Interest

Providing a non-judgmental, accepting presence for those experiencing disillusionment with church/divine, and deconstruction/reconstruction of faith.  Exploring longings of the heart, loss and grief, healing, trauma, changes as we age, end of life, and childhood wounds.  The Enneagram as a tool for spiritual growth, and deepening awareness of the many tools and practices available for connection to self, Source, others and all nature for wellbeing, and spiritual guidance.

 

Education and Training

Ann received her certificate for Spiritual Director through the Franciscan Spirituality Center of La crosse, WI.  Ann graduated with an Masters of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA and was ordained as a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and served as a solo pastor and as a Spiritual & Grief Counselor in hospice. She is certified as a Grief Support Companion through the program: Honoring Grief, Intending to Heal.  Though her background is Christian, her emphasis is interfaith, and spirit work using her listening skills and various spiritual practices to meet folks where they are.
